Did you know that fashion colors are determined as much as 2 years in advance? I find that fascinating. Popular colors are influenced by social, political and economic trends as well as what the celebrities are wearing. There are trendsetting agencies that determine which colors are the hottest, most sought after colors for each season's palette and then pass that information to manufacturers and retailers. Their determinations influence many areas of our lives including fashions, jewelry styles, interiors, home colors, furnishings and appliances to name just a few.
