A New Leaf (Necklace, Pearls, Green Adventurine, Sterling Silver)

This is another pendant I finished last week. I am so pleased with how it turned out. This one is simply called "A New Leaf."

The shape of the leaf is made with a medium thickness wire, sterling, of course. On the left side wire is woven in and out to create a pretty silver pattern. And on the right, two different colors and sizes of green pearls are sewn to the outside of that shape, and then light and dark green adventurine beads are sewn in the middle of the design. The pendant measures 1 1/2" wide by 2 1/2" long. This pendant also hangs from an 18" snake chain. The pendant is so lovely that I thought a simple chain would be best for it.
