Flower Bead Tutorial

I love being creative and trying new techniques.  I found this fun tutorial that shows how to make floral beads using shrinky dink plastic.  I made things with shrinky dinks when I was a kid.  I loved the stuff.  You start out with a thin flat sheet of plastic, and when you heat it up, it gets thick.  I used to draw on the plastic with colored pencils.  You can make earrings, pendants, pins...all kinds of stuff.

But this looks like a fun, creative way to use shrinky dinks that is easy and looks great when done.  I found this tutorial on the site "Just Something I Made."  This is what the finished project looks like.
