Saturday on the Bay

Saturday was a beautiful sunny day here on the northern coast of California. We have not been having a very sunny summer, and it has been down right cold many days. But saturday was a stunner.

After having lunch with my sister, we went to visit a gallery showing of a favorite artist friend of mine named Regina Case.  She paints beautiful acrylic paintings on paper and canvas.It was a wonderful show. Then we walked down to the bay.

This is one of our marinas named Woodley Island.  It was a pretty scene with the sky so clear and mostly cloudless.

There were many others enjoying the bay, strolling on our boardwalk just a block from our old town area. When it finally does get sunny here, it reminds me of why I like living here so much.
