Even though I was not much into celebrating this year, I did have a nice birthday. I have worked at the same place for 7 years and every year, they never remember. My husband brought me a big balloon bouquet at work. HE FELT I needed to be acknowledged at work. It was very sweet.
I had lunch with my sister and my husband and I went out to dinner. My husband did a great job at celebrating me. He is very caring in that way.
One of the best phone calls I received was from my step-son Brandon. He told me he hoped I was enjoying celebrating my 21st birthday. He knows how I am about aging. Gotta love that guy!
So all in all, it turned out to be a good day. Thanks to all.
